  2. Year 9 Public Demonstration Site

Please note: Headphones may be used for most tests (except the reading test) if students prefer that the questions be read to them.

Headphones are required for the Conventions of Language test, as part of the assessment will be read aloud to students, who then attempt to spell the words correctly. Please ensure your son has headphones for the Conventions of Language test, as the College will not have any to share.

The NAPLAN Locked Down Browser is used to attempt the tests. It should be on your son’s laptop automatically, if they have completed all updates, which can be done at home and restarted their laptop at school. The NAPLAN locked down browser has this icon which should be on their desktop.

If your son’s laptop does not have this icon, please encourage him to apply updates at home (might need to check a couple of times to ensure all are applied), and restart his laptop at school. If it still isn’t appearing, ICT Support are happy to help ensure your son’s laptop is prepared for NAPLAN before Wednesday.
