Fast 5 Netball Competion

Yesterday, our Year 11/12 mixed Fast 5 team competed against schools from Wagga and surrounds. The first game took a little bit to warm up, but they came away with the win. By the second game, the team were working well, talking to each other, intercepting consistently, throwing accurate passes and displaying solid shooting. They won every single game to end up in the Grand Finals. 

The team competed against Griffith in the grand final, whom they had previously beaten by 8 points earlier in the day. It was a very hot day, which impacted players, however, they pushed through, making a comeback. It was thrilling to watch! They ended up losing by 1 point! Mrs Johnson was very proud of them all and how they conducted themselves with the heat and pressure from other players.
