JMSS Music Report: Term One Wrap-Up

Music at JMSS is thriving! This term concluded with two outstanding performances, both well-attended and filled with exceptional musicianship.

Our Term One Piano Soiree, expertly organised by the fabulous Ms. Chen, took place on March 20th. Piano students showcased their hard work through a mix of solo and duet performances, impressing the audience with their dedication and skill.

Following this, the Term One String Soiree, Viva Vivaldi, was held on March 31st. Under the direction of Maestro Gyula Cseszko, our talented string students tackled an ambitious program featuring multiple soloists. In bittersweet news, Mr. Cseszko will be leaving JMSS to enter the private sector. Jules, thank you for a wonderful five years. We have been incredibly fortunate to have you, and your impact on our string students has been immeasurable. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors—you will be deeply missed!

Wishing everyone a restful and enjoyable holiday break. And to all our musicians—keep up the practice!
