Year 12 Formal Reflection

As Term 1 was coming to a close, the anticipation of the Year 12 Formal was at its peak. Fortunately, the night did not disappoint! Thanks to the Year 12 Formal Committee and Mr. Mackinnon, the venue looked spectacular, with elegant centrepieces and wonderful lighting. Even more impressive were the students themselves, dressed in beautiful gowns and sharp suits, making the atmosphere truly glamorous. With so many stunning outfits, it was no surprise that cameras were constantly flashing. From group shots with friends to candid moments on the dance floor, the memories of this milestone event for the Class of 2025 will be cherished forever.  The night included a formal video, a heartfelt and humorous montage of school-based interviews that made sure to get the crowd laughing.  Adding to the excitement was a series of fun awards, celebrating everything from “Best Dressed” to “Life of the Party,” giving students yet another reason to celebrate. As the DJ took over, the dance floor came alive. Students and their plus ones danced the night away, alongside teachers who joined in the fun. As clichè as it is, it was truly an unforgettable night, marking the unity and celebration of Year 12.

VCE Extended Investigation Top Talks 2025

The VCE Extended Investigation students attended the Top Talks 2025 at the State Library of Victoria in early March. The event showcased exceptional oral presentations from VCE Extended Investigation students in the previous year. Our students had an opportunity to learn more about the presenters' research topics and methods, as well as their experiences studying VCE Extended Investigation.
