News from our Student Councillors
It was wonderful to see so many families attend the Anzac Day service at Huntly last week and we would like to extend a heartful thank you to all of those families. Your presence and support made this event a meaningful and memorable experience for our students.
Our Student Councillor’s have been meeting and working hard to plan out some fun days for our school to enjoy this year. We will be putting out some information on what we have planned soon.
💙 Next week on Friday the 10th of May, we will be celebrating Do It for Dolly Day.
Do It for Dolly Day is a day to remember Dolly and raise funds to end bullying. We invite everyone to dress in blue on this day. This could be a touch of blue such as a ribbon, scrunchie, hat, t-shirt or you could go all out and dress entirely in blue. We are asking everyone to bring a gold coin donation to go towards Dolly’s dream.
Below is a short video about Dolly’s story. We encourage you to watch the video with your child to give them an understanding of why we are raising awareness on this day.
Thank you,
Mr Palmer, Miss Jones & the Student Council
