PFA update

Thank you to those who attended our PFA meeting last week. We had a fantastic turn out which I very much appreciated. It was lovely to have some new faces too. We had Natasha from the School Council attend who gave everyone a really great understanding on why the PFA is so important for our school. The funds we raise, along with the voluntary contributions are a huge help towards the programs and welfare services available to our children at PMPS. It made me really proud to be a part of the PFA.

Our last fundraiser of the term is today. I hope a lot of you will attend the Winter Solstice Festival to celebrate our amazing community while also raising these important funds for our children. I will be there, as will many other PFA members, stop by and say hello!!

A huge thank you to Mia, Donna, Hayley, Julia and Shannon who have worked tirelessly to put this incredible event together.

Winter Solstice Disco

When: Friday 21 June 2024 from 5.30pm

Where: PMPS Music Room

Tickets: $15 - tickets are still available to buy at the door.

Come to our first ever Winter Solstice Festival to celebrate the winter solstice with good food, drinks, an LED light show and a winter disco. Our students will go on a lantern walk from 5.45pm, which stems from a Northern European tradition, and will include songs and a great atmosphere. BYO lantern or buy a lantern kit.

After the walk - let’s dance! Students can move, shake and rock it out to the latest tracks and party classics at the Disco. Run by 'Kids Disco Parties' who are qualified teachers, this will be an awesome event not to be missed!

While the kids are enjoying a boogie there will be a night market including food and drinks to keep you well fed and jolly in the cold weather. There will also be a crafts market stall.

Volunteer: Sign up to help.
