Year 3 camp summary

Our Year 3 students recently went on camp to Mount Evelyn. Hear from our students below.

I loved camp. My favourite part was Eco Warriors, it was fun learning about nature and it was pretty funny when I was calling onion weeds potato weeds. The best part was learning about Scar trees. — Lachlan M.

Camp was amazing but one of my favourite parts was bush cooking. In bush cooking we made damper and learnt how to make it step by step, every single bit was exciting especially eating it. It wasn't very nice plain but tasted amazing with raspberry jam. — Maeve M.

I really liked archery because I got to the closest to 100 on the target. We had groups and I was in such a good group! I came third place in a race too, then we had lunch. — Jude S.

Camp was amazing! We did lots of different activities. My favourite activity was the flying fox. There was a tree house with a ladder going to a platform and started zooming down. When you were going down it felt like you were flying. It was so fun! — Charlie M.

My best thing about camp was the...giant swing! When I pulled the rope it felt like I was flying and it was faster than I expected. So that was my favourite thing about camp. — Alina D.
