Meet our new staff 2024
Hi, I’m Jodie Russell,
I’m really excited to join the Team at Bundoora Primary School as the New Office Manager.
I have added a photo of my Family & one of my favourite quotes is “Family, where life begins & love never ends”. I’ve been happily married for over 26 years, and we have 2 amazing boys.
I volunteer at our Local Football Club where my boys play & my Husband coaches. I’ve had every role there is, & I’m a proud Life Member. We have a cute cat named Roxy and Dog named Mali.
Myself and my youngest son barrack for Collingwood & my Husband and my oldest son barrack for Brisbane. I can’t explain our home when the final siren went on Grand Final day 2023.
I enjoy travelling, we are leaving for Bali on the 28th of December for 2 weeks, socialising with Family and Friends, Yoga and watching a great movie.
I look forward to getting to know all the wonderful Bundoora Primary School Families and students!

Hi! I’m Miss (Julia) Patatsos
I cannot wait to start teaching at Bundoora Primary School in 2024. A little bit about me- I have a cat called Loki, who I love dearly even though I’m allergic to cats (yes, I sneeze a lot!). I’ve been a gymnastics coach for nearly 10 years and my favourite apparatus is uneven bars.
I love to travel. This year I visited Spain, Portugal, Morocco, UK and Italy. On the weekends I love to sip tea in the sun, catch up with friends and get crafty.
I’m super excited to get to know everyone at BPS! We’re in for a good year!!
Miss Patatsos
Hello, hello! I’m Courtney
I’m very fortunate to be in the role of Literacy Club Tutor in 2024 here at Bundoora Primary School.
What brings great joy to my life is exploring different ways to move my body so on weekends you’ll see me outside playing local football, running, rock climbing and hiking & camping with friends. I love it!
I also have some mindful indoor hobbies like playing my guitar and working through newspaper puzzles like cryptic crosswords or sudokus on a Saturday morning which I enjoy just as much.
I’m looking forward to getting to know all the wonderful students and their families next year!
Kindly,
Courtney Jewell
Hello Families,
My name is Rhiannon Evans
I am very lucky to be in the role of Grade 2 teacher in 2024 at Bundoora Primary School.
I have been teaching in some capacity for the last 9 years and have experience with every age group from birth to grade 6.
I love to travel and have spent time living in Canada, Thailand and Bali. I grew up in QLD and love to go back to spend time with my family and friends.
I foster cats and kittens, love to read and spend time outside when it's sunny.
I very much look forward to getting to know the families at Bundoora Primary School and becoming part of the community here.
Warm regards,
Rhiannon Evans
Hello everyone,
My name is Kim Fong
I am absolutely thrilled to be part of Bundoora Primary School team in 2024.
I first began working with children as a parent helper at my children's primary school. I then found my passion and pursued my career in supporting students in their learning. This year is my third year as an Education Support Worker and I am still loving it!
Being a mother of two teenage girls means I have always been running around with my children's activities. When I have spare time, I will go for a walk or join a Pilates class. My husband and I love to travel and we will be off to somewhere during school holidays.
I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone at Bundoora Primary School and working together to create something remarkable.
Hi, I’m Anastasia
I’m ecstatic to be in the role of teachers aide in 2024 at Bundoora Primary School.
A lot of families and the school community may know me from being the coordinator at OSHC TheirCare that is run at Bundoora! I am super excited to further along my career while still getting to hangout with my OSHC buddies, so this is very much not a goodbye!
I come from both Greek and Italian backgrounds and find a great importance in cherishing the cultures I was brought up with from speaking the languages, trying the foods and exploring the places. I love to travel, not only to the places my families originated from but to all over the world, one of my bucket list goals is to travel to as many places as I can in my lifetime! However I have not strayed from my Australian roots as I do love my football and I am full fledged Hawthorn supporter and I try to go to as many games as possible!
I also enjoy being with my family, socialising with my friends and absolutely love to read in my free time!
I look forward to getting to know all of the Bundoora Primary School families and students.
Anastasia
Hello, my name is Sean.
I am looking forward to joining the Education Support team in 2024! When I am not at work I spend most of my time with my baby boy Riley, who just turned one and is keeping me on my toes because he is about to start walking.
I will be a stay-at-home Dad on the days that I am not working, so that my partner who is also a teacher can work as well.
I also have one dog called Sonny who is a cattle dog cross and three cats called Pepper, Oli and Chuck.
I am hoping to become a Secondary teacher as well down the track too, so I look forward to gaining valuable experience at Bundoora Primary school.
I can’t wait to get to know everyone in this community and work together.
Thanks,
Sean

and students!

Classroom Teacher 2024
My name is Cristal Flood.
I am overjoyed to be joining Bundoora Primary School in 2024 as a Grade One teacher. I have lived in the area for around 25 years. Growing up in Albury, I found a love for the water, particularly the Murray River and the Weir. After moving to Melbourne and growing accustomed to the trams and trains, I developed a passion for the Geelong Football Club. So, I am a true Melbournian.
The cutest thing in my life is my dog, Bella. She is love on legs – all 4kg of her. She is a rescue who I adopted nearly two years ago.
I usually have three books I’m reading at a time. I particularly love crime novels and try to work out the culprit before reaching the end.
If you have any good recommendations, please let me know. I look forward to meeting you all as 2024 progresses.
