Friends of Music - Annual General Meeting
The Eltham High School Friends of Music will hold an Annual General Meeting on Monday 23 February at 7:00pm in the school staff room.
Office holders will be elected and any parents or carers with an interest in supporting the Instrumental Music Program are very welcome to attend the AGM and join the committee in 2026.
Friends of Music is made up of parent and carer volunteers who organise and coordinate music concerts, raffles and a trivia night to raise money for the music program. The money raised funds the purchase of instruments, music, equipment, and guest artists that enrich the music program our kids enjoy.

Term 1 - Key Dates
| Monday 02 February | Ensemble Rehearsals commence: Check Compass for details. Instrumental Lessons commence for Years 8 to 12: Check Compass for details. |
| Wednesday 04 February | Symphonic Band and Chamber Strings Performance for Year 7 Instrumental Evening at EHS in Room 101 Arrive at 5:30pm for performance. Rehearsal will run from 3:30pm - 4:30pm. |
| Saturday 21 - Sunday 22 February | Jazz Workshop Weekend at Eltham High School: 10:00am - 5:00pm Saturday & Sunday. |
| Monday 23 February | Friends of Music Annual General Meeting: 7:00pm at Eltham High School, in the Staff Room. |
| Monday 02 March | Year 7 Instrumental Music Lessons commence: Check Compass for lesson details. |
| Monday 16 March | Training Band first rehearsal: 3:30pm - 4:45pm in Room 306. |
| Tuesday 17 March | Training Strings first rehearsal: 7:30am - 8:45am (students to arrive at 7:15am) in Room 306. |

| Monday 23 March | Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Concert, The Rite of Spring: Hamer Hall, 100 St. Kilda Rd Southbank. Own Transport. Meet at Hamer Hall at 10:00am. More details on Compass closer to the event. |
| Monday 30 March | Performance for Year 7 Information Evening: Eltham High School, Students arrive by 5:00pm. |
