The Middle School team would like to welcome all Year 8 & 9 students and families to the 2026 school year. 

2026 is shaping up to be another fantastic year in Middle School with a number of camps, excursions and incursions planned for students to foster a sense of inclusion, community and further engage student learning. The Middle School team would like to remind all students about the dress code policy at Eltham High School and encourage students to dress for the workplace, modestly and respectfully.

Year 8 students will soon receive an excursion permission request for Urbn Surf water skills safety training. The excursion is heavily subsidised this year and will cost students $55 for the entire experience which includes transport, training, surf lessons and wet suit hire. Families are reminded that student absences must be accounted for and encourage parents to actively record student absences for every day or period away from school.
