SPRING into action and DIVE into the pool with our EHS SWIM SQUAD.

New Members always welcome.

Squad will commence for 2026 at Eltham Leisure Centre on Thursday 5 February and will run each Thursday morning (7:00am - 8:00am).

Kick start your year on a high! Year 7s (and in fact all levels) are very welcome to get involved and we can’t wait to see your smiling faces ready to get started.

Coach Michael Nicassio awaits your arrival on pool deck to give you a specialised program designed to improve your swimming ability and improve your fitness.

Students of all swimming ability are catered for.

Cost for Semester 1 is $100 payable at the front office to the school’s cashier or by Bpay.

An entry fee to Eltham Leisure Centre is $3.60 for any student that is not a Leisure Centre member.

Bring a towel, bathers, goggles, and a change of clothes.

Hot chocolate will be awaiting you as you arrive back at school in the main staffroom prior to the commencement of the day's classes.

Each year in Term 4 we run a Lap-a-thon event for charity and support the Nillumbik Wish Giving Tree.

It’s great fun being involved. We hope to see plenty of new smiley faces to kick off 2026!

2025 Swim Squad Lapathon

Fifteen dedicated members of the Eltham High School Swim Squad courageously took part in our annual Lapathon Challenge last year on Thursday, 9 October. Our students proudly raised funds for the Nillumbik Wish Giving Tree, an initiative that provides Christmas gifts to families in need. Each year this effort is carried out in partnership with the Lion’s Club, who also assemble food hampers and offer vital support to our community.

Their monumental effort to swim as many laps as possible in just one hour was enthusiastically supported by parents, staff member Ross McKinnon, and representatives from the Lion’s Club. The school is immensely proud of our squad’s ongoing commitment, discipline, resilience, and strong sense of teamwork.
