Autumn Fair Update
It has been a busy fortnight of Autumn Fair preparations, and we are delighted to share some exciting partnership announcements with our community. We are thrilled to welcome Elevated Digital Marketing as the Presenting Partner for this year’s Autumn Fair.
We are incredibly grateful for their generous support in helping bring this much-loved community event to life. We would also like to thank Higgins and Quayclean for coming on board as Zone Partners and THINK Architects who are supporting as a stall sponsor. A special thank you goes to LOSA for supporting the Fair with a generous offer of 2x $1,000 vouchers off school fees for 2027. We are very appreciative of these businesses and their commitment to supporting our school community.
In the classroom, the Year 8 Creative Technology class have been busily preparing items for the student stall. From juggling chickens and scrunchies to fairy capes and fabric baskets, it has been wonderful to see the girls’ creativity and teamwork come together. There will be even more additions to their stall in the coming weeks, including some delicious treats from our Senior School classes.
Meanwhile, our Junior School students have been embracing their artistic talents, putting the finishing touches on their year-level canvases. These beautiful pieces will be auctioned as part of the Silent Auction at the Autumn Fair. The designs have been interpreted by artist in residence, Marisha Matthews and inspired from the original paintings on the walls of The Acacias. They were painted in the 1880’s and are some of the earliest images of South Australia's flora, fauna and landscapes.
We are still hoping to build on our Autumn Fair Silent Auction. If you would like to donate an item to the Silent Auction, please contact Kate Woods for more information at kate.woods@loreto.sa.edu.au
With most of the stalls now confirmed, the Autumn Fair is shaping up to be a fantastic day out for all ages. We have a fabulous line up of entertainment, including showground rides, travelling farm, CFS Truck, pony rides, face painting, henna artist, parent vs student volleyball game, a bar for the parents, LOSA’s Devonshire Tea in the beautiful Acacias Dining Room and plenty of stalls selling delicious foods, fun, and activities.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this exciting event already - we have been truly blown away by the generosity, time and enthusiasm our College community has already contributed to the Autumn Fair!
