Media Studies

This term in STEM, students will become digital creators as they explore the exciting world of Media Studies.

Our Foundation to Year 2 students will learn how to take and edit photos, capture videos, and use iMovie to create their own short films while developing their creativity and digital skills.

Students in Years 3–6 will build on these skills by using iMovie to produce a range of media projects, including advertisements, promotional videos, variety shows, and short films. They will also have the opportunity to use our green screen technology to create engaging and professional-looking productions.

Throughout the term, students will develop their creativity, teamwork, communication, and digital technology skills while learning how media is planned, created, and shared with different audiences. 

Nature Photo Competition

Also remember to enter the photo competition. Photos need to be entered by Friday 21st August. 

Photos can also be entered to the student's class teachers via SeeSaw, which will then be passed on to me. This may be helpful for the F-2 classes.
