Celebrating Outstanding Student Growth and Achievement 

Our school community has much to celebrate following the release of our latest NAPLAN results, which demonstrate outstanding achievement and growth across multiple areas.

While NAPLAN represents just one measure of student learning, these results provide an important opportunity to recognise the progress our students are making and the collective effort that sits behind their success. 

They reflect the dedication of our students, the expertise and commitment of our staff, and the valuable partnership we share with our families.

A particular highlight has been the exceptional growth in Numeracy. The gains achieved by our students are a strong indication that our sustained and intentional approach to mathematics teaching is having a significant impact.

Across our classrooms, teachers have worked consistently to strengthen learning through Daily Reviews, explicit instruction, the implementation of PR1ME Mathematics, targeted intervention and collaborative planning. These approaches ensure students are supported to consolidate essential knowledge and skills while also being challenged to extend their mathematical thinking.

Importantly, these results have not happened by chance. They are the result of a clear and consistent focus on high-quality teaching, high expectations and using evidence to identify what students know, what they are ready to learn next, and how we can best support their continued growth.

The comparison data across our school highlights significant improvement in a number of areas and reinforces the positive impact of this collective work. 

We extend our congratulations to our students for the effort, persistence and positive approach they bring to their learning. We also acknowledge our teaching and support staff, whose professionalism, collaboration and commitment to ensuring every student grows underpin these achievements.

As a school, we are incredibly proud of these results. More importantly, we are proud of the growth they represent. We will continue to build on this strong foundation, maintaining high expectations and ensuring every student is supported and challenged to achieve their very best.
