Reimagining the Future of LNPS

Last Friday, our staff came together for a Pupil Free Day focussed on reflecting on our current Strategic Plan - Future Focussed Education (which has been in play since 2016) and the 2024 to 2026 Site Learning Plan, and began to imagine the future of LNPS.

Staff considered what makes our school special, what must be preserved and what we want learners to experience more consistently in the years ahead. Four strong themes emerged from the conversations: belonging, innovation, curiosity and growth. Staff dove deep into evidence from our current Site Learning Plan to celebrate progress and identify opportunities for further improvement.

This was the beginning of an important process, not the development of a finished plan. Over the coming months, we will invite learners, families, Governing Council and members of our wider school community to contribute their perspectives and aspirations.

Together, we will use these voices and our evidence to develop a small number of clear, meaningful priorities that reflect the strengths of LNPS and support every learner to thrive.

We look forward to sharing further information and opportunities to participate as this work continues.

Minister's Volunteering Award for Outstanding Service

Congratulations to Abbie Eggers, Tanielle Morgan and Katie Hamlyn, who have been recognised for their outstanding volunteer service to LNPS and formally acknowledged by the Minister for Volunteers.

Abbie, Tanielle and Katie were presented with certificates and flowers at our Week 2 Assembly in recognition of the time, energy and care they have generously given to our school community.

Volunteers play an important role at LNPS, supporting our students, staff, programs and events in so many ways. Their generosity strengthens the connection between our school and families and contributes significantly to the positive community culture we value.

We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support and commitment of Abbie, Tanielle and Katie. Their contribution helps make LNPS the amazing school it is.
