National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) Pathways Program – Daniel Wuol – Year 12 Drama, Music and FTV student

We congratulate Year 12 student, Daniel Wuol who successfully auditioned for a place in the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) Pathways Program as one of 12 students selected from across Australia. The five day intensive course which took place during the first week of Term 3 at the NIDA Campus in Sydney, provided an opportunity for participants to explore their potential in stage and screen, whilst being guided and mentored by experienced teaching artists. Daniel is currently studying Drama, Music and Film, Television and New Media and we look forward to seeing where his immense creative talents take him with plans to move into a career in the performing arts after he completes his Senior studies at the end of the year.

Griffith Film School’s Experience Week – Sidney Martin – Year 11 FTV student

Griffith Film School’s Experience Week workshops offer high school students a unique opportunity to step into the world of creative media. Tailored for students in Year 10,11, 12 considering future tertiary study at Griffith Film School, the experience provides our future filmmakers, animators and game designers with a taste of a career in this vibrant industry. Earlier this month,  Year 11 FTV student,  Sidney Martin participated in this week-long programme which provided him with access to industry connection through a skilled teaching team, where he was able to further develop theoretical and practical skills in film and screen media production. In a group, Sidney also completed a short film which he will be able to add to his creative portfolio.  Watch the finished product at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgLZWsVe8AY
