Reminders
Please do not bring any personal items (including sporting equipment or toys) to school.
If your child is delivered late to school (after 8:50am) you must sign them in on the Compass kiosk in the front office. If children are not signed in by a parent, they will have an unexplained absence.

Armidale Catholic Schools Response to Hate Speech
All Armidale Catholic Schools are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment for all students, staff and members of the school community. In accordance with the ACS Living Well Learning Well Student Support Framework, ACS Suspension and Expulsion Policies and Procedures and the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Codes of Conduct, Hate Speech is strictly prohibited.
For all Armidale Catholic Schools, Hate Speech is defined as conduct that is an offence under section 93ZAA of the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW)
Any incident of Hate Speech will be treated as a serious breach of ACS policies. Where such conduct places the safety, wellbeing or learning of others at risk, or causes significant harm, a significant response must be undertaken. For students, this may include suspension or expulsion in line with ACS and school procedures.
The Principal will ensure that procedural fairness is applied in all matters and that appropriate supports are provided to those affected, as well as interventions to address and prevent further incidents.
This statement reflects our commitment to upholding dignity, respect and the safety of every member of our school community.
Attendance Matters
Education is important and regular attendance at school is essential for your child to achieve their educational best and increase their career and life options. When your child attends school every day, learning becomes easier as they are able to build on what was learned the day before. Just one day missed per fortnight equates to one whole year over a child's school life!
Arriving at school on time is also important. Classes start at 8:50am so students should arrive at least ten minutes prior to this to ensure they have time to put their bags away and greet their friends. Arriving after the bell disrupts the flow of the class and important daily reminders and learning opportunities are missed.
Schools, in partnerships with families, are responsible for promoting the regular attendance of students and for ensuring that non-attendance is addressed effectively. Thank you for prioritising your children’s attendance at school and please do not hesitate to contact us if you require support in this area.
