Rugby 7's FINAL
We wish Cooper, Jax and Gus all the best at the State Championship Rugby 7's Tournament in Sydney next Friday. This wonderful opportunity is a result of their win at the Rugby 7's competition in Tamworth last term. Their team also includes students from Barraba and Bingara Central Schools. We thank Mrs Lowe for her organisation and Adam Cabot for coaching and running training sessions.
Good luck boys!

Learn-to-swim
This week, students in years K-2 participated in an intensive swimming program. Platform & Co (based in Narrabri) partnered with the NSW Government to provide the lessons to our students to increase their skills and water safety awareness. A big thank you to Ms McArdle for assisting the instructor with the lessons.
It was incredible to see how much the children improved over the week!

Diocesan Cross Country
Next Friday the 22nd of May we are proudly hosting this carnival again.
Well done to the following students for qualifying to compete. We wish you the very best of luck!
Walter, Logan, Caspian, Eddie, Rupert, Hadley, Emily, Sophie, Jack, Millah, Alfie, Ryder, Monty, Georgie, Nahla, Fletcher, Dexter, Elkie, Chastity, Makenna, Stella, Piper, Gus & Cooper.

As always, we need lots of support from our school community to make this day happen. So we ask that each family contributes in some way, as the money raised goes towards our school for things like excursions, resources and playground equipment. You can help with setting up, doing a shift on the BBQ, in the canteen or baking. If you haven't already, please add your name to the volunteer roster on Compass or contact the school office.
Upcoming Sporting Dates:
Gary McSweeney Cup Rugby Union trials (5/6 students only) - 30th May
NSWCPS Cross Country (qualifying students) - 24th June
School Athletics Carnival (whole school) - 3rd July

Keep soaring!
