Learning Across the

Junior School

From the Assistant Principal: Head of Junior School

Community is truly at the heart of our College, and over the past few weeks it has been a joy to welcome so many members of our community to school as we celebrated a number of special occasions together.

Last Friday, our Junior School was filled with excitement as we celebrated Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day. We warmly welcomed these cherished members of our community for a morning of celebration and connection.

The day began with a prayer service, followed by wonderful singing performances from students across Reception to Year 6, showcasing many of the girls’ favourite songs. Our special guests were also invited into classrooms and enjoyed a lovely morning tea shared together.

Earlier this week, we gathered for our Mothers’ Day Breakfast and Liturgy. Families enjoyed a beautiful breakfast outside the Acacias before joining in a Liturgy led by our Year 1 students. The girls shared special reflections, images and prayers, giving thanks for the mothers and special women in their lives and for the love and care they provide each day.

These treasured events provide valuable opportunities to celebrate, connect and strengthen the spirit of community that is such an important part of Loreto. Thank you to all staff, students and families who helped make these occasions so memorable and meaningful.
