Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Breakfast Tomorrow

Tomorrow, we will be hosting our Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Yoga and Breakfast in the hall. Thank you to everyone who has purchased a ticket. Ticket sales have now closed, to ensure we could organise catering in time.  

Our yoga and mindfulness session begins at 7:30am. Please remember to bring a mat or towel. 

Breakfast will be from 8am-8:35 in the hall. 

Thank you to all who are helping with the set up and serving tomorrow. We hope all the mums and other special people enjoy your morning!

Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall Wrap Up

 Last week, we held the annual Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall, where children had a chance to buy a few goodies for their special person. It was a busy day with all the excited shoppers, so thank you to all the parents and grandparents who volunteered to help out on the day. We cannot run these events without your help, so thank you. 

A special thank you to Genevieve H. for all her hard work sourcing the goodies and organising the day. We hope all the mums and other special people enjoy their gifts this weekend! 

PIC Treasurer Still Needed

We are still in search of a Treasurer to join the PIC Exec. It is not a big task, as paperwork and systems are already in place. You do not need to be an accountant for this role! Please reach out if you are able to help support us. picstjohnsheidelberg@gmail.com 

Looking for a Lead to Organise a Student Disco

We are also looking for someone to lead and form a subcommittee to hopefully put together a Student Disco if possible. Without someone to take the lead on this, we cannot run it, and it is something the students have requested again, after a successful one run a few years ago.

Shout outs

We wanted to give some shout outs to two generous small businesses who have kindly donated goods to help support our PIC initiatives. 

Daily Harvest, the fruit and vegetable shop in Warringal Mall donated apples for kids to enjoy after their Cross County run. 

Box Pantry, run by Maria S., is kindly preparing a large selection of breakfast items for the Mother’s Day breakfast tomorrow.

Second-hand Uniform Shop

The online uniform shop can be found online at the PIC Square Site. Stock is updated regularly as donations are received, so please check back often if you’re after a specific item. Orders are packed within a week of ordering, and you will receive a notification when it’s ready for pick up from the office.  http://st-johns-pic.square.site
