Thank you to St Mary's Golden Oldies who have once again generously donated $300 in vouchers to our Breakfast Program.

We very much appreciate these regular donations that help keep our Breakfast Club running.

Golden Oldies are a group of past Parents, Parishioners and Community Members who get together regularly and run various activities to help raise money to donate back to the school.

New - Italian in Grades 1 & 2

In Term 2 Italian lessons the grades 1 and 2 students have been using Italian greetings. They have communicated with the teacher and their peers through action related talk and play. Signorina Thompson has been very proud of the effort and enthusiasm shown by her classes.

New - Grade 6 Book Reports

Over the last few weeks in Grade 6 we have been reading the picture book ‘Free Diving’ during literacy. It is a tribute to the Aboriginal men and women who worked in the pearling industry as ‘free divers’ in the late nineteenth century in Western Australia.

Students have written a book report outlining a summary of the book as well as their personal opinion.

We had lots of fun putting together our book reports and using our creativity!

New - Essendon AFLW Players Visited

Gallery Image

Last Wednesday we were lucky to have visitors from #AFLW #EssendonAFLW

Sophie Alexander, Maddy Prespakis and Georgia Gee spoke with our Grade 5 &6's.

The students asked questions about the players football careers, including where they came from and what their current goal tally is.

It was lovely to hear from the players, who commented on how polite and respectful our students were during the session and when adressing the players.

Thanks for inspiring our future generation!

New - Preps Learning

Recently, Preps learnt about how special nature is and how there are so many amazing parts to it when we stop to look at it.

We had so much fun taking our nature cameras outside to explore our school.
