Grade 1 News

Welcome to Grade 1! 

We have enjoyed a positive and settled beginning to the school year and it has been wonderful getting to know our students and their families, both new and returning. 

Over the past few days, we have focused on forming connections, learning classroom routines, and reinforcing our expectations.

Please remember to send your child to school each day with a hat and a drink bottle. Students are also encouraged to bring a piece of fruit or a small snack that they can keep on their table and eat while working.

Sunscreen will continue to be applied regularly throughout the day.

To help us keep track of belongings, please ensure all uniform items and personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s first and last name.

We would also like to remind families that toys and personal sporting equipment should not be brought to school.

We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to working with you and your children.
