Grade 3 News

Welcome to 2026 Grade 3 families,  

We have had a wonderful start to the year. 

The students have started this year with a positive attitude and have enjoyed getting to know their new classmates and learning spaces. We have enjoyed getting to know your children and hearing about their holidays.

Our focus over the first week is all about classroom routines and expectations, and we have started our class novel Matilda.

Your child has been sent home with a Reading Diary, please encourage your child to read most nights, and to fill in their diary. We will be checking diaries every Friday.  We do have a prize box for those students who reach milestones, such as 25, 50, 75, 100 nights of reading.  

In accordance with the Sun Smart Policy during Term 1 please ensure your child has a school hat and as it is currently very warm, we recommend a drink bottle.
