Performing Arts

The year has started well with a record number of students enrolled in Drama, Dance, Instrumental and Vocal lessons. We will also have our Rock Band rehearse to perform to the school.

Students from Year 3 to 6 are invited to attend Hymn Singing on Tuesday mornings 8.30-9am in the Performing Arts room to learn new hymns which can be sung at school masses.

On Friday mornings at 8.30-9am, the Year 3 to 6 students will continue learning songs in the Performing Arts room so the St. Bernard's Choir can perform for the school. Stay tuned for some exciting music moments!

Performing Arts classes commenced with the Year 5 students in a welcome circle with a twist! A chant was added to create some beat and rhythm. 'Jump in, jump out, turn yourself around, I say, jump in, jump out, introduce yourself!' I look forward to hearing some interesting introductions.

The Year 2 and 3 classes continue to learn about the Fruit and Vegetable Beats. The students are so good at clapping and saying these different beat values! Super!
