Child Safety

School Event Photography
We understand that families like to take photos/videos as a lasting memory during school events, however, in line with Child Safe requirements, we kindly ask that you only photograph/video your own child/ren.
School Bathrooms
We ask that any parents, adults or non-students needing to use the bathroom during drop-off or pick-up time use the bathrooms in the school Admin area. To be sure we are creating a safe school environment, bathrooms within the school grounds are to be used by Harvest Home students only.
School Privacy
Our school collects and uses student and parent personal information for standard school functions or where permitted by law, as stated in the Schools’ privacy policy and the Schools’ privacy collection notice.
Our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students policy describes how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn. Policy can be found here: https://www.harvesthomeps.vic.edu.au/uploaded_files/media/1728268154photographing_filming_and_recording_students_policy_updated_sep24.pdf
We ask parents to also review the guidance we provide on how we use online systems safely at the school and what parents can do to further protect their child’s information. If after reviewing the guidance, you have any questions or concerns regarding your child using Google, please contact the school.
For more information about privacy, refer to: Schools’ privacy policy: information for parents. This information is also available in eleven community languages. Please contact the school office for translated documents.
If you would like further information related to details shared above, please contact the school office on 8468 900.
