Attendance Notes on Compass

Parents and carers are encouraged to enter an upcoming absence and/or late arrival on Compass. 

This is an efficient and effective way to advise us if your child is going to be away from school (e.g. due to illness) or arriving late (e.g. after a dental appointment).

Follow these quick and easy steps:

• Log into Compass via the Parent Portal or App

• Select Student (applicable when 2 or more students attend BHS)

• Click on Add Attendance Note (Approved Absence/Late) Link/Box

• Select applicable Reason from the drop down list

• Add in any additional information in the Details/Comments box

• Select the start and finish Date/Time

• Click Save/Add

   

A Compass Attendance Note entry will save you needing to call the office or hand write a note to send with your child.
