This coming Sunday we celebrate Father’s Day. We wish all our dads a very happy day and hope that your children spoil you very much. Enjoy the day with your family and we pray and give thanks for all our dads (and grandad’s too). There is a Father’s Day breakfast in the Community Centre on Friday morning 1st September. We hope that you enjoy this very special meal with your children.
Fete raffle tickets should have been distributed by now. Great prizes on offer this year and at just $2.00 a ticket. Ticket stubbs and monies can be returned to the clearly marked box in the Church foyer. Thank you for supporting our Community Fete.
The September edition of the Spirit magazine is due out soon. If you have any articles of interest to the Parish/School community, Yvette would love to hear from you. Yvette is also looking for someone to help with compiling magazine. If you are competent with Word and emails, this could be for you. Yvette’s mobile is 0407 873 432.
The following week the School Art Show will be held on Thursday 7th September from 5-8 pm in the Community Centre. This should be a wonderful opportunity to share and enjoy all the artwork. We hope that many of you will be able to attend this very special event.
Holy Spirit is a child safe Parish. We hold the care, safety and well being of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility of our Parish.
