3-6 ICAS Maths

A big congratulations to the students in Years 3-6 who sat and completed the ICAS Maths assessment this week. All of our students did an amazing job and should be proud of their efforts! We look forward to sharing their results with you later in the year.

Art Show

A big thank you to our Art Show raffle sponsors. Tickets will be available on the night. More information is on the Visual Art page of the newsletter.

Book Week

We celebrated Book Week last week. A huge thank you to everyone for your support. It was a great day and the students looked amazing. Here are some happy snaps from the day:

Premier's Reading Challenge

Amazing effort by Holy Spirit! Our reading tally is up to a whopping 1776 books. 31 of our students have completed the challenge - amazing job!!

Our most read books:

• Possum Magic by Mem Fox (16 reads) 
• Pig the Pug by Aaron Blabey (15 reads) 
• Where is the Green Sheep? by Mem Fox (11 reads)

9 days left of the challenge. The Challenge ends on 8th September.

We can't wait to share our final reading progress with you all! Go Holy Spirit!!

Storybox Library

Holy Spirit have a subscription to an online resource called Storybox Library. This platform provides access to an incredible amount of storybooks read by actors, politicians, authors, to name a few.

Library

The Library will be open to our families, before school, on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each week, from 8:35 - 8:50am. You are welcome to visit Trish in the library to read with your child or borrow a book.

Assembly

Please check the school calendar for the class presenting at assembly each week. Assembly will be held each week at 2:30pm.
