Kildare Campus - Celebrating Book Week 2023

Last week we celebrated Book Week.

Students had the opportunity to attend a number of scheduled activities during the week including trivia and a viewing of the movie 'The Lorax'. 

Congratulations and thank you to all those who willingly participated in the Reading Room Emoji Scavenger Hunt put on by our librarian, Miss Lynch, and congratulations to the winners in each class. Many of our students walked away with amazing prize bags.

Brigidine Library 

You may have noticed that our library at Brigidine Campus has been closed a few times over the past week. This has been a result of us trying to keep the space a safe and respectful environment by limiting the number of students coming in at a given time. 

We have also rearranged some of the furniture and shelving to improve the space too.

Stuntman

Last week we were lucky to have a skype interview with Shea Adams, an Australian stuntman, screened across both campuses. During the session he shared some great insights into his fascinating life and adventures of being part of Hollywood film crews. Thanks to Shea for giving up his busy schedule to connect with our staff and students at St Joseph’s.
