Learning Showcase

Last week we had our wonderful Learning Showcase to help bring Term 2 to a close. Thank you to all the family members that were able to attend. We hope you enjoyed your time and we look forward to welcoming you all back again soon! Here are some wonderful photos of the afternoon.

Term 3

There is so much to look forward to next term. There will be lots of learning and plenty of fun to be had along the way. One of the many highlights will be our SFX Book Week! Just a reminder that Term 2 begins on Tuesday 22nd July as Monday is a School Closure Day

Some of our learning will include:

Inquiry - Our unit is called 'First Contact'. This unit has a large focus on History and Indigenous Culture.

Year 3 Maths - Multiplication and Division, Angles, Telling the Time, 3D Objects and Addition and Subtraction

Year 4 Maths - Multiplication and Division, Angles, Fractions, Location and Decimals

Writing - Our VCOP focus will centre around Connectives and Openers. Students will again participate in various Cold Writes and Big Writes.

Education in Faith - We will forward our Term 3 Mass date asap. Our Education in Faith will again link to our Inquiry unit and have a focus on the Early Church, it's key people and the growth and development of the Church over time.

Specialist classes will remain on the same days. 

Monday - STEM and Italian

Wednesday - PE and Art

Thursday - Fitness Fun (and Library).
