As we wrap up another busy and successful term, I’d like to extend a big thank you to all our families for your ongoing support. It’s been a joy to see the students learning, growing, and having fun together.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy break with plenty of time to rest and recharge. We have lots to look forward to next term, and I’m excited to see what we’ll achieve together.

Making Butter and Fairy Bread 

To wrap up our inquiry unit on food production, the students had a hands-on experience making butter in the classroom. They learned how cream turns into butter through shaking and mixing. To celebrate their learning, they used the butter to make and enjoy some delicious fairy bread!

Designing Packaging

As part of our inquiry unit, the students designed packaging for either milk, bread, or rice. They created their own brand names and carefully thought about colours, images, and information to include. Each package highlights the health benefits of its chosen food and showcases what the students have learned about food production.

Upcoming event....

On Wednesday 30th July, Year 1/2s will be going on an excursion to Como House. Information and permission forms will be sent out on the first day of next term.
