Vietnam Veterans Day

What a wonderful turnout we had for Vietnam Veterans Day! It was fantastic to see so many students, staff, veterans, families and community members come together to commemorate this important occasion.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, participated and helped make the day so meaningful. We are incredibly proud of our students and the respectful way they represented Seymour College.

Defence Club

Our Tuesday Defence Club sessions have been filled with fun and creativity. Students have enjoyed playing Bingo and taking part in our “Spring Has Sprung” Carry Bag Challenge, where they could draw, paint and create their own colourful spring-inspired designs.

Thursdays remain our much-loved Hot Chocolate Days, giving students a relaxed opportunity to connect, catch up and enjoy a warm treat together.

Important Reminder for Defence Families

Could parents and carers please notify the Defence School Mentor as soon as possible if:

• Your family has received a posting to a new location
• Your posting details have changed
• There has been a change in your family’s circumstances

Receiving this information early allows the DSM to provide the best possible transition and wellbeing support for your child and family.

A very Happy Birthday to all of our Defence students celebrating their birthdays this month!
