SAVE THE DATES
Celebration of Church's 40th Anniversary and the History of our Parish
COBRAM, SAVE THE DATE: November 9th, 2025 (Sunday) - Plans are coming along for our Church’s 40th Anniversary and the History of St Joseph's Parish (114 years) celebration. If you have some ideas to celebrate this milestone, please share them with Fr Junjun or a member of the planning committee: Rosa Perri, Sarina Artavilla, Angela Artavilla, Francesca Dovey, Kristel Lazzarotto, Michael McCann or Carmel Natale. * We are planning to build a grotto in the cleared space at the front of the Church. There are sheets with options and a little about the story of Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Fatima in the foyer. We encourage parishioners to ‘have a say’ as to which statue they would prefer by placing a tick on the sheet. PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE JUST EXAMPLES OF STATUES NOT THE ACTUAL ONES THAT COULD BE USED. Once we have more information about the grotto, we will also ask parishioners to vote on which style they prefer.
. 13th September: St Patrick's Strathmerton, celebrates 90 years of worship with a Thanksgiving Mass, on Saturday 13th September at 6pm. All welcome. Please spread the word. More details to come.
