Middle Learning Community

In Year 3, the students have settled into Term 3 incredibly well. We have an exciting term ahead, with many of the students preparing to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We are pleased to see so many students completing their Reconciliation book.

In Maths, we have been learning more about Multiplication and Division. Please encourage your child to continue practising their times tables at home. 

For Literacy this term, we will be focusing on Australian Poetry before moving into reading ‘The Iron Man’.

Last term in Year 4, students took part in a lively downball competition during our RRRR lesson. The tournament came down to an exciting grand final between Luca R and Bailey, with Bailey emerging as the champion - congratulations, Bailey!

This term, we have launched our poetry unit, exploring classic poems such as The Eagle by Alfred, Lord Tennyson and Who Has Seen the Wind? by Christina Rossetti.

In Art, students have been highly engaged. They recently completed their Lego-style self-portraits and have now begun working on an aquarium perspective artwork piece.
