BBQ Fundraiser for Vietnam Study Trip
Recently the generous Endeavour Community expressed their love and support for the two orphanages that we will visit during the April school holidays. This was the final fundraising initiative, following successful Bake Sales, a Santa Photo Wall Experience and a Stall at the Mawson Lakes Christmas Market late last year.
The team of eleven students and three staff will tour Vietnam in April for ten days, and part of the trip is dedicated to visiting and supporting two orphanages in the Ba Ria area. With the help of our friends from the South Australian Veterans Charity Group, the money is spent at the local Ba Ria markets to ensure that the funds remain in the community.
In the past we have supplied the children with much needed rice, baby formula, sleeping mats and sanitary products.
If you would like to donate or purchase a $4 hand crafted keyring, please contact Front Reception or email kelli.delacy@endeavour.sa.edu.au

Inspiring Student Leadership and Civic Insight
On the morning of Thursday 26 March, Endeavour College was honoured to welcome Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, and Mr Bunten, as part of their school visits program. Following an Acknowledgement of Country delivered by Her Excellency in the Kaurna language, Middle and Senior Years leaders, Year 12 History students and staff had a thoughtful and engaging discussion with Her Excellency focused around leadership and civics.
The visit proved to be a highly insightful experience for all concerned, but particularly valuable for students as we were encouraged to reflect more deeply on the qualities of effective leadership and Civics concepts which can be applied in real‑life contexts. Her Excellency’s reflections on her own public service and journey to the State’s governorship offered valuable perspectives, while the genuine and personable manner of both Her Excellency and Mr Bunten fostered open and meaningful dialogue.
The College community is sincerely grateful to Her Excellency and Mr Bunten for generously giving of their time and insights during this memorable visit.
