Year 6 Orientation Day
On Tuesday 2nd December, we were excited to welcome our incoming 2026 Year 7 students for their Orientation Day at Camden High School. The day gave our future Year 7 students the chance to get to know the school, meet some of their teachers, and take part in a variety of activities designed to help them feel confident and prepared for high school next year.
A big thank you to all the current Camden High students who helped make the day run smoothly!
Year 8 Literacy & Numeracy
Year 8 students have wrapped up their narrative writing challenge! Each student created an original storyline and used the literacy skills they’ve developed this year to plan, draft and edit their work. The final pieces were fantastic to read—well done, Year 8!
Library News
The Story Stacks reading challenge was a huge success this term. Students in Years 9 and 10 came out on top, reading the most books and winning the competition.
Congratulations to everyone who joined in, explored new genres, or discovered a new favourite author. Our top readers were rewarded with some festive Christmas socks!
