The Year in Review 

What seems like a long time ago now, we began the year with four captains each with an initiative to take Camden High school to a new place.  

• Josh M wanted to support young men in their mental health journey and then coordinated the Push-up Challenge raising funds and awareness of male mental health.  
• Claire wanted to build community awareness and participation in our Cowra exchange and organised a team to beam back all the latest information as soon as it happened. 
• Josh H wanted to tell the academic story of the high achievers at Camden High. He worked with the Science Faculty to raise the profile of initiatives Camden High runs for its high achievers.  
• And Paige wanted to support the essential work of Blue Wren House, a shelter for women and children in Camden.  

All the captains proudly left having driven change at Camden High for the betterment of the school and community.  

There is a new energy and culture developing. We have five new school captains, a new SLC team and new initiatives we will realise in 2026.
