Reflecting on 2025

As we approach the end of another school year, we want to take a moment to reflect on what a fantastic year it has been. Our students, staff, and community have worked together to achieve so much, and it’s important to celebrate these successes. Our Presentation Evening and CAPA Showcase were perfect examples of these celebrations of achievement.

This year has been full of learning, growth, and achievement. Our students have made impressive academic progress across all year levels. We have seen consistent and continuous improvement in junior students results and efforts as well as outstanding results in senior exams. We have seen students embrace challenges, develop new skills, and take pride in their achievements. The dedication and hard work of both students and teachers has truly paid off.

Beyond the classroom, our school community has flourished. Our extracurricular programs, including sport, music, and STEM activities, have seen strong participation and success. Many students have represented our school with pride at local and regional competitions, showcasing their talents and sportsmanship. These opportunities have enriched our students’ school experience and helped build strong friendships.

Community engagement has also been a highlight of the year. We have enjoyed great support from parents and carers through events such as open days and parent-teacher meetings. It is clear that this collaboration plays a vital role in creating a supportive and positive learning environment for our students.

We have also focused on wellbeing throughout the year. Our dedicated wellbeing team has led important initiatives to support students’ mental health and resilience. Programs promoting kindness, respect, and inclusivity have helped foster a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Our partnership with The Resilience Project has been a great benefit to our students. These efforts remind us that academic success goes hand in hand with emotional and social wellbeing.

As we look back, we also look forward. Plans are already in motion for the coming year, including new learning programs and exciting school events. We are looking forward to hosting Cowra next year with the hope of winning back the Robert Montgomery Shield. We are committed to continuous improvement and providing the best possible opportunities for our students to succeed.

We want to express our sincere thanks to our staff, students, and families for their commitment and enthusiasm throughout the year. Your positive attitudes and hard work have made Camden High School a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Finally, to our students, well done on a year full of achievements and memories. Enjoy your well-deserved break, stay safe, and come back ready for another great year of learning and fun.

Thank you for being part of the Camden community. Together we achieve! We look forward to building on this great year, making the next one even better!
