Physical Education

As we head into the final term of 2026, our students are ready for another term filled with movement, learning and plenty of opportunities to get active. Term 4 will provide students with the chance to apply and extend the skills they have developed throughout the year while taking part in a range of engaging physical activities.

Our PE lessons will continue to encourage students to challenge themselves, work collaboratively and develop positive sporting behaviours. Through games and activities, students will be encouraged to demonstrate teamwork, resilience, respect and sportsmanship, while celebrating their own progress and the achievements of others.

We look forward to an exciting final term and seeing our students finish the year strong — giving their best, supporting one another and, most importantly, enjoying being active!

Prep

In Term Four, our Prep students will continue to develop their movement skills, coordination and confidence. During a Target Sports unit, students will develop their accuracy, control and concentration through a range of fun activities involving throwing, rolling and aiming at different targets. In Gymnastics, students will explore a variety of balances, jumps, rolls, movements and sequences. They will develop their strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness while learning to move safely and confidently. Our Student Voice weeks will give students opportunities to share their ideas, make choices and have an active role in their Physical Education learning. Students will be encouraged to communicate what they enjoy, what they would like to learn and how they can work together to make PE a positive experience for everyone. We look forward to seeing our Preps continue to grow in confidence, develop new skills and finish the year with plenty of movement, creativity and fun!
