Monegeetta Day

Four year 11 Science students, part of a group of 40 passionate STEM focused students from regional Victoria, attended the International Women’s Day STEM event at the Land Engineering Agency Proving Ground in Monegeetta on 8 March. They toured the base to see the facilities and capability provided to support researchers in Defence STEM careers, who make sure army land equipment is resilient, efficient and capable. It was great to participate in activities that highlighted practical applications of their science studies as well as, get a close look at some of the vehicles. Many thanks to the Monegeetta staff and the Defence Force Work Experience Team for this valuable experience.
