Thank You to Our Parents & Friends Committee

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Parents and Friends Committee for organising such a fun filled community night at the Coogee Diggers last Friday. It was a fantastic evening that brought together new families, current families and staff, all enjoying the chance to connect and celebrate our school community.

A special thank you to Sean Sheridan for his leadership in bringing the night together. Your efforts helped create a memorable event that truly strengthened the sense of belonging we value at St Anthony’s.

We also want to acknowledge the important fundraising work our P&F continues to lead. The school has several key resources that the committee is supporting this year resources that directly enrich our children’s learning, wellbeing and daily school experience.

Fundraising @ STA 

Our Parents and Friends Association fundraising for 2026 is for the purchase of new guided readers for our classrooms and home readers for students to enjoy at home.

Having a strong collection of readers in both settings is essential. In the classroom, guided readers help teachers provide targeted reading instruction and build students’ confidence and skills. At home, access to engaging and level‑appropriate books encourages regular reading practice, strengthens fluency and fosters a lifelong love of reading.
