International Eucharistic Congress in 2028
Over the next three years, our Catholic community is invited into a time of preparation and renewal as we look ahead to the 54th International Eucharistic Congress, which will be hosted in Sydney in 2028. With the theme “This is My Body, Given for You,” the Congress calls us to deepen our understanding of the Eucharist and reflect on Christ’s self‑giving love.
This period leading up to 2028 will focus on strengthening our Eucharistic faith through prayer, formation and meaningful participation in the life of the Church. Sydney Catholic Schools is guiding this journey with the theme “Trust in the Lord for True Peace and Strength,” inspired by Jesus’ words, “Take courage! I have overcome the world” (Jn 16:33).
Together, we hope to nurture students and staff who are grounded in faith, courageous in hope and generous in love. As we move toward World Youth Day in Seoul and the Eucharistic Congress in 2028, may we continue to place our trust in Christ, discovering in Him the peace and strength we need for the journey ahead.

Project Compassion
This Lent, our school community is invited to be part of something truly meaningful. Once again, we join thousands of others across the country as we Unite Against Poverty by supporting Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion.
Your generosity helps Caritas Australia provide life‑changing support to communities facing poverty, food insecurity, limited access to education, and water shortages, while also building resilience for the future.
Together, through faith and action, we can bring hope and opportunity to those who need it most.
Please donate today.
