Archery Success

During the holidays Joy, Billy and Graham Jones competed in the state titles for 3D archery. 

Billy and Graham did extremely well with both boys finishing in the top 3, Joy went from trailing after the 1st day to winning after the second day. She was crowned the girls NSW champion in compound bow 3D archery.  We congratulate Joy on this fantastic achievement.

All three students of Catherine McAuley  represented the school with great pride and sportsmanship and should be congratulated for this.

Cross Country

Last week Eleanor Shortis competed at the NSWPSSA Cross Country.  Eleanor placed in the top 50 for her age group in NSW.  Congratulations Eleanor on such a  fantastic achievement.

Southern Region Athletics

On Friday (31st July)  we have over 70 athletes heading off to Cowra for the Southern Region carnival. Mrs Livingstone will be the team manager and we thank her for all the hard work she has done in the lead up to this carnival.  We wish all the students the best.

Soccer Gala Day

Last Wednesday, over 100 students proudly represented our school at the annual Soccer Gala Day, with 10 teams taking to the field.  After the disappointment of having the event postponed last term due to wet weather, we were incredibly fortunate to enjoy perfect conditions for a fantastic day of football.

Inspired by the recent soccer World Cup, the day was filled with teamwork, encouragement and outstanding sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see students supporting one another, trying their best and embracing the spirit of the gala day. We were especially proud of the exemplary behaviour displayed by all of our students, who represented our school with respect and enthusiasm throughout the day.

A sincere thank you to our teachers for their organisation and support, and to the many parents who generously volunteered their time to coach, manage teams and cheer from the sidelines. Your assistance helped make the day such a memorable success. Well done to everyone involved on a wonderful day of fun, friendship and sport!
