Principal's Page

I am delighted to be returning to the McAuley community for Term 3 as Acting Principal.  It feels very much like coming back home again as I was here for a term in 2024.  The children have grown and changed so much over this time and I'm enjoying getting to know the Kinder and Year 1 students. 

I worked in the Archdiocese of Sydney for over 30 years and my previous principalships include St Finbar's, Sans Souci, St Declan's, Penshurst, St Francis of Assisi, Paddington and St Joseph's the Worker, Auburn South.  

I am looking forward to working in partnership with the staff, students, families and the parish team to continue to strengthen this vibrant Catholic educational community. Please come up and introduce yourself, I'd love to meet you.

Infectious Illnesses

We kindly ask that you notify the school as soon as possible if your child is diagnosed with an infectious illness, such as chickenpox, measles, influenza, COVID-19, gastroenteritis, or any other contagious disease.

This is particularly important as we have a student in our school community with a significantly compromised immune system. Prompt notification enables us to take appropriate measures to help protect vulnerable members of our school community while maintaining confidentiality and respecting everyone's privacy.

If your child is unwell or has been diagnosed with an infectious illness, please keep them at home in accordance with the relevant health guidelines and inform the school office as soon as possible.

We appreciate your cooperation and support in helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students and staff.

New Counsellors Starting

We have two new counsellors starting this term. Isabelle Figuero (Mon and Tues on odd weeks) and (Mon, Tues and Wed on even weeks) and Danielle Brown  (Thurs and Fri this term).
