Allied Health Update

Welcome back to all our students, families, and staff for another exciting term at Hamlyn Views School! We hope everyone has had a wonderful break and is feeling refreshed for the term ahead.

We are pleased to share a few updates within our Allied Health team. This term, we warmly welcome Lauren, who has joined us as our new Occupational Therapist. We are excited to have her on board and know she will be a fantastic addition to our team. We are also very happy to welcome back Sarah (Physiotherapist) and Alice (Speech Pathologist), who have both returned this term. It’s wonderful to have the full team back together supporting our students.

Our focus this term has been on upskilling staff to further support student participation across the school environment. The Allied Health team has been working closely with classroom teams to build confidence and capacity in areas such as communication, movement, and engagement in daily school activities. By strengthening staff knowledge and skills, we aim to create consistent and supportive learning environments that maximise each student’s opportunity to participate and succeed.

We look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with families and staff throughout the term to support all students in reaching their goals.
