As we move into the colder seasons it’s really helpful for students to have a full set of spare clothes at school.
Accidents, weather and sensory activities can all mean students end up wet or dirty throughout the day. Having a change of clothes on hand helps us keep them comfortable and settled so they can get on with their learning.
These don’t need to be school uniform — old or casual clothes are absolutely fine. We don’t always have the capacity to wash and dry clothing at school, so having spares available makes a big difference.
Please remember to check Seesaw and Compass regularly, as these are the main platforms we use to share important school information, including updates about your child’s program, routines and upcoming events. If you need help setting up or accessing either app, please get in touch—we’re happy to support.
Thank you for your ongoing support in keeping unwell students at home. This makes a real difference in our school community, where many students are more vulnerable to illness. We appreciate your care in helping keep everyone safe and well so we can continue to provide a safe learning environment.
Thank you to the families who joined us for our Harmony Day celebrations. It was wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate diversity, inclusion and a sense of belonging. We really value your involvement and support.
As our school continues to grow, pick-up from the gym is becoming more challenging. We’ve had a few close calls recently where students have tried to leave while their parent or carer was chatting with staff. We understand those conversations are often important, but for some students the gym can feel overwhelming at that time of day, and they may try to exit quickly and resist being redirected.
We’re currently looking at possible changes to improve this, including the use of different entry and exit points. In the meantime, it would really help if we could keep the areas around doorways as clear as possible to support visibility, reduce congestion and improve traffic flow.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
It’s hard to believe how quickly the term has flown by. School will finish early next Thursday. We wish all our families a safe and happy Easter and holiday break, and we look forward to seeing everyone back next term.
