Winter Sports

Soccer

We took two team into Ballarat, during Week 4, to participate in Winter Soccer. As you can see in the photos, it was a cracking day to be outside running around. A win, few draw and few loses were the results throughout the day, but everyone having fun was the best part!

AFL

Week 5, this time AFL 9s. We took a boys and girls team into Ballarat. Typical winter conditions throughout the day. Some sun, rain and wind made it interesting conditions. The boys had a successful day, winning 4 games and the girls, who most of them have never played a game before, came out with one win in their last game of the day.

Huge thank you to Mark Hutchings for coaching the boy’s team for the day and driving our secondary school umpires in. 

Division Cross Counrty

20 awesome students went to Ballarat, in Week 3, to test their resilience at Division Cross Country. They did an outstanding job in the tiring conditions and unfamiliar track. Even though we had no one go through to the next stage, their determination and willingness to improve themself during their training was perfect. They should be so proud of their achievements! Well done to all!
