COLLEGE CAPTAINS REPORT & BSC WEEKLY

Dear BSC community,

We want to say a massive congratulations to all the students who have completed exams this week, our fellow students have been working so hard, we commend your resilience, perseverance and dedication toward your exams.

We also know that our cohort of year 12’s has been working exceptionally hard on finishing the final SACs for unit 3, this has been a challenging time, but we hope you can all take the time to relax on the long weekend. Similarly, congratulations to everyone for finally completing unit 3, it’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through our final year!

We had the pleasure of attending lunch with the language centre students and staff and the principal team, the food was delicious, and we really enjoyed getting to know all of the students!

On the horizon for year 12s there will be a staff vs student netball game next Thursday lunchtime (13th June), for any year 12s interested please come along and take part or support your friends.

Following on from this week’s BSC weekly, we want to remind you that the end of semester winter concert is fast approaching which we’re all looking forward to, similarly, the basketball academy has a "come and try" session on the 19th of June, so please come and give it a shot if you’re interested.

So, we also wanted to let you know that the Les Twentyman foundation is working with OfficeWorks as part of the "Make a Difference" Appeal to help disadvantaged students receive access to the resources that they need for the education. Please consider contributing a donation as you’re topping up your stationary or equipment, in preparation for semester two.

Finally, please use this long weekend to rest and recharge, term 2 is a long term so take the opportunity to have a break in preparation for the final weeks.
