MAYFLOWER VISIT

On Wednesday the 29th of May, students of the year 9Young Endeavours class visited the Mayflower retirement home in Brighton. It was a wonderful experience for everyone.

Firstly, we all helped set up the dining hall for the morning tea that was going to be held soon after we left. To our surprise we had extra time left to talk to some of the residents.

Our experience and interactions with the elderly was truly heartwarming. We got the opportunity to talk and ask questions about the elders, allowing us to learn about their lives, memories and passions. The residences presence brought immeasurable joy and warmth to our hearts. It's moments like these that remind us of the power of human connection and the importance of cherishing our elders' wisdom.

Thank you for giving us this opportunity we are so very grateful, and we look forward to more opportunities like these.

Warm regards

The year nine Young Endeavours studies class.
