Wellbeing

On a grey and rainy day earlier this month, Wellbeing invited students to brighten up the school by turning colourful circles into miniature works of art. We love to see the students’ creativity and fun coming out!
Sleep: Your Body’s Secret Weapon
Did you know sleep helps your immune system stay strong? While you sleep, your body works to repair itself and support your immune defences. Teenagers need 8–10 hours of sleep each night, but homework, sport, social activities and screens can make this challenging. Not getting enough sleep can also affect concentration, memory, mood, learning and sporting performance.
💡 Try these simple sleep tips:
Keep a regular bedtime and wake-up time
Switch off screens before bed
Avoid caffeine and energy drinks in the evening
Keep your bedroom calm, dark and comfortable
Parents can help by encouraging consistent routines and modelling healthy sleep habits too. This winter, make sleep a priority . Your body will thank you!
